If you don’t have a second family maybe you should. Everyone has the potential to adopt a second family and it’s the one of the most healthiest things you can do. Here are just a few examples.
Here are some examples of a 2nd family. A football player helps his team to win a championship, the team becomes his sports family.
An athlete joins a swim team at school, and suddenly everyone on the team is supporting him as he supports them. They are his swim family, to put it swimmingly!
An actress lands a role in a play or a film and the cast and crew become an acting family for the duration of the show. If they did not, the entire project would be a flop.
A doctor joins the staff at a hospital and becomes an integrated part of the medical family.
Do these people have a real biological family? A family that they go to at the end of the day? Of course!
God created many different types of families’ that make up our world.
If it were not so, there would be no professions, no passion and no progress in society!
Denying yourself or someone else the God given right and privilege of having a “2nd Family” is the same as being thief. I didn’t say it Jesus did.
God gave you a purpose and a passion to follow and pursue. Not pursuing it is the same as slapping God in the face and saying, I don’t want what you gave me.
Your gift was given to you so others could learn and grow by seeing it in YOU. When you don’t pursue it, its the same as stealing the quality of other people’s lives. WHOA!
Stopping others from pursuing their purpose and passion? Look at the verse above again. It’s stealing. Stealing isn’t just taking material possessions.
It’s taking anything that isn’t yours.
Oh and the “little ones?” That has nothing to do with your age. God looks at you as a child.
See, your purpose and passion was specifically designed and hand crafted by God for the purpose of glorifying HIM and anyone who tries to snuff out that glory?
Who is your 2nd family? How do you identify with them?
Remember, you have a purpose and a passion.
God gave them to YOU.
